Conventional Skin Cancer Screening

Conventional skin cancer screening forms the basis for the early detection of skin cancer and its precursor lesions. It includes a full-body examination of the skin and visible mucous membranes. Please inform us of any skin changes you have noticed, preferably prior to the examination.

Statutory health insurance providers cover standard skin cancer screening (including dermoscopy) from the age of 35 every two calendar years. If you wish to undergo screening more frequently or at an earlier age, this is available as a self-pay service (individual health service / IGeL).
